We are proud to announce that our latest breast cancer awareness campaign received GOLD at the Balticbest 2020 awards, which means we can take part in the prestigious EPICA awards later this year.

Breasts are everywhere. On TV, in adverts, movies and magazines. We love to look at them; we love to stand out with them! They stir society, and yet their health is still taboo! We want to change this by launching a new campaign #PUPKULTURA. At the heart of this name and the movement itself is the idea that breast care must become an everyday part of our lifestyle and culture.
There is currently a great way for everyone to help support women affected by breast cancer in Latvia, by emptying their cash into the Pink Train Foundation donation boxes by the cashiers in all Rimi supermarkets, until 17 th March. The funds raised will be used to pay for individual counselling or physiotherapy sessions for women affected by this disease.
We will start with a campaign in February, under the slogan: “Take care of what you LOVE!” This will be a campaign in which we celebrate our love for breasts, because they have given us so much, from the day we were born!
The campaign will encourage people to remember to regularly check their breasts for any possible changes, as well as call for donations towards supporting women with breast cancer, giving them the opportunity to have counselling and/or physiotherapy sessions.
In 2018, the Foundation provided support for 150 women in Latvia affected by breast cancer. We anticipate that in 2019 this figure will increase to 250 and, in order to cover this support, we need to raise at least EUR 25 000.
Greetings on this first day of the New Year!
Beginning this month EUR 1 from all BAUERFEIND SPORT items (with a special sticker) sold will be donated to the Pink Train Foundation. This money will help cover the costs of physiotherapy and counselling for women in Latvia diagnosed with breast cancer. Also, breast cancer patients referred by Pink Train physiotherapists will receive a 30% discount on compression sleeves, much needed after surgery related to this disease.
We are delighted to announce that this year's Pink Train Foundation marathon team raised EUR 3291,52, which will be put to good use in fulfilling the Foundation's aims. Another EUR 62 and we would have beaten our 2016 "record" - EUR 3352,89!
Thank-you to all those who supported our team!

All the jewellery with the Pink Train Foundation logo on Habibi Jewelry’s website is on special offer, and part of the proceeds made from selling the jewelry will be donated to the Foundation, thereby helping even more women with breast cancer.
Their shipping costs to send abroad are also very reasonable!
New campaign! Only in November and only in RIMI shops for every Schwarzkopf product purchased 10 cents will be donated to the Pink Train Foundation. All proceeds will go towards supporting women in Latvia with breast cancer.

“Lāčplēsis" ourselves and try out his bed of stone, and count how
many times we can tie the Lielvārde belt around our
The Women's Day rally in Latvia will take place for the eight consecutive year on the occasion of International Women's Day, on March 8. This rally is for female participants only and this year promises to surprise the participants with a variety of novelties. Organised by the Association "Event agency".
Dear friends and supporters!
It is exactly one year since the Pink Train Foundation was founded. During the course of this year we have organised train trips around Latvia and other events - our launch reception at the British Embassy in April, participation in Riga's marathon in May, the enterTRAINment event and calendar presentation in October. More recently, this month we organised a calendar presentation in North England, and while in the UK we visited one of the leading cancer hospitals in Europe - Christie's - and initiated discussions about possible work experience visits for nursing staff in Latvia who work with breast cancer patients.
Over ten years ago,
in the UK, a film called "Calendar Girls" was made, based on a true
story about a group of women who posed, discreetly topless, for a
calendar, which was then sold to raise funds for cancer patients.
The Pink Train Foundation is proud to present Latvia's first ever
"Calendar Girls"! The models featured in our calendar are either
women who have had to face breast cancer themselves, or their
supporters – family, friends, colleagues – because only by
supporting each other is it possible to get through such a
difficult period in life. Each model has also written their message
to women with breast cancer in Latvia.
